Midvalley Defensive Shooters will be hosting the 2013 Sanctioned Central California Regional IDPA Championship match on Sunday, June 30th. We will have 11 exciting stages that will test your handgun skills to the fullest. Early match fee (paid up to Friday, May 31st), is $60 and will include a sandwich lunch and event dog tag. To keep cost to a minimum there will small random drawing prize table. All trophies will be awarded according to IDPA rules. Stage construction will start on the 27th through the 28th. Staff will shoot on the 29th and the main match on the 30th. All competitors must be current IDPA members with a classification of Marksman or higher. "It is mandatory that you must shoot a classifier within 12 months prior to this match." It is the shooters responsibility that their gear must be compliant and have an understanding of the current IDPA rulebook. No competitors will be allowed on the range before the 30th, only range staff and essential personal will have access only. We hope can join us to take part in this safe and fun event.

After the competitor has completed the registration process, immediately proceed to the tech inspection area with their unloaded pistol and empty magazine.

All competitors and spectators are required to conduct themselves appropriately and abide by the rules described. Violation will result in disqualification from the match, or ejection from the range, and all match fees will be forfeited. Cold Range There is to be no handling of weapons anywhere, including the parking lot, except in the designated safety area, inside the shooting bays under the supervision of the Safety Officer, or on the firing line preparing for the Course of Fire under the direction of the Safety Officer. CCW holders with loaded weapons must notify a Safety Officer once they enter the range. They will then be taken inside of a bay to safely unload and secure their firearm. Unloaded weapons must always remain secured in a holster or container. They are not to be removed at anytime except under the direction of a Safety Officer or in the safe area. Under no circumstances will uncased firearms be placed on any of the picnic tables, even if unloaded, during the course of the match.
RV Parking Overnight parking will be available to RV’s and camp trailers in the parking area. No open flame or campfires are allowed.
Smoking By order of The Bettencourt Ranch [The Property Owner], there is no smoking anywhere on the range except in personal vehicles, RV’s, and camp trailers.
Alcoholic Beverages Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed or possessed during the course of the event. Any competitor or spectator who appears to be intoxicated or impaired (including prescription drugs) will be ask to leave the range.
Eye and Ear Protection All competitors and spectators are required to wear eye and ear protection while on the line during the course of the event.
Waivers All contestants and spectators are required to sign the liability waiver. Minor children must be supervised at all times.
Rules Enforcement of the rules will be dictated by the current IDPA rule book and addendum’s.
Range Duties To keep the match running smoothly, all contestants are required to assist with resetting the stage after each shooter. A procedural penalty will be given to anyone not perform these duties.
Arbitration All disputes or protests will be brought before the Match Director, whose decision will be final.
